Mrs. B.J. Campbell became an elementary teacher over twenty years ago after being a principal's secretary and staff development secretary in Colorado Springs School District Eleven. As an elementary teacher who worked with Kindergarten students then whole school K-5 reading at High Plains Elementary, she was prepared for her dream job in administration. Her administrator experience includes positions at High Plains Elementary, Frontier Elementary, and Chinook Trail Elementary School. She received her BS in Business Management at Chapman University after spending time in the U.S. Army as an Avionics Mechanic. BJ received her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and received administrative licensure from the first Academy District Twenty/UCCS program. She is married to Jessie, a Florida transplant and Western Forge - Forger, and has an awesome son, Matthew, who is attending Denver University. Every year her greatest joy has been the first day of school when she welcomes kids, parents, grandparents and teachers back to the building where they get to be a part of all types of learning.
