Chinook Trail, located in the Cordera development at Briargate Parkway and Powers Boulevard, is one of Academy District 20’s newest schools. The school is dedicated to "growing the cross-cultural mind and the international citizen in our own neighborhood." Chinook Trail teaches Mandarin Chinese and its students experience a wide variety of cultural lessons and perspectives through social studies, literature, character education and technology. Students are involved in community service through the Junior Optimist Octagon Club, as well through activities to sustain the Earth's resources. Chinook Trail offers a variety of intramural sports opportunities and clubs before and after school. The school also encourages positive behavior supports/awards through GROWL: Give your best, Respect your world, Own your choices, Work hard, and Listen carefully.
